Man Walking with Little Daughter in the Forest

Not Less, Not More

It’s no secret—fathers are misjudged.
They come second,
They are “not the same as the mother.”
Maybe once, that was true.
Inequality was the norm.

But times have changed.
Fathers stand as equals—
Not less, not more.

They cradle fevered children,
Catch mothers before they fall.
They cook, they clean,
They learn, they grow,
Shedding who they were
To become something more.

Resilient. Patient.
Steady as the tides,
Fierce as a storm,
Gentle as dawn’s first light.

To be a father is to be there—
Not by blood, but by heart.
Not for show, but for life.
